When P&M Services fit windows and doors we pride ourselves on the quality of the installation.
All windows are manufactured to British Standards quality but many fitters fall down on the way they fit them.
All windows and doors now have to comply to building regulations either through FENSA the window trade body or through the local building control Officer.
P&M Services are not registered with FENSA and will not issue a FENSA certificate. This is because FENSA registered companies simply self assess a majority of their work and issue their own certificate. FENSA will check approximately 10% of any companies installations.
P&M Services have EVERY installation checked by an independant building control officer from your local council and they will issue you with a building control certificate. If the building control officer feels there is a problem then P&M Services will correct it.
This we feel gives our clients greater peace of mind that the job is done properly and overseen independently not self assessed.
When taking out old windows the plasterwork invariably gets damaged and many fitters just fill the gaps with gallons of mastic which ages and discolours with age.
P&M Services replaster properly and re decorate where neccessary leaving a neat and clean job to your windows and doors. This can be seen on the close up images on the bottom left.
